The workload of being an Aerospace Engineer 5 days per week, plus running the Peddler at the weekend has taken a toll on Simeon's fitness level and he wishes to resume cycling and various other activities. There are also quite a number of other personal reasons for our upcoming retirement from The Corwin Peddler.
Just to allay any worries, Ann, Simeon, Ty & Rachael do not have any serious medical, emotional or financial problems, we just want to ensure that we do not develop any.
We want to stress that The Corwin Peddler is a great business and many of our customers have become valued friends. It is important to us to have a smooth, happy, and uninterrupted transition from our stewardship of The Corwin Peddler, to the new owners, whoever they might be.
Until the auction (June 29th) we will be open as follows:
Saturdays & Sundays from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
We will continue to have Young's Ice Cream, a variety of drinks, snacks and bike accessory sales.
However No Bike Rentals, Afternoon Teas, or Cooked Meals will be available, unfortunately we will also be unable to perform Bike Repairs.
Between the auction and closing (30 days later) we are looking at options that may be beneficial to our customers, but we will share details about that when they are finalized.
